Grew up on bay boats and fishing boats as a kid. I’ve just never owned one of my own.  Wife and I are tied of “waiting for the right time” and have decided on a Nauticstar 251 Hybrid. They have been almost impossible to find and even though a new order only takes a few months, there is no telling when the motor will be available.

Got really lucky and found a smaller dealer in Florida that just got a 2022 model in, loaded with everything I want…except for a Power Pole. It’s expensive but what the hell right?

Deposit is in and just waiting on the credit union to give us options on terms / interest. What am I in for?

Mixed use of sandbar / cruising and coastal Louisiana fishing.

Nauticstar 251 Hybrid

I don't have any answers to your question but congratulations on your new boat.  It is beautiful.

She sure is sexy. But you only live once and I bet you can move it if your not happy with it.

It looks nice a very nice boat, love the color.  That said, I pay that much for a boat, it better have a head (bathroom) in it.  But still congrats and enjoy!

enjoy and remember how happy you are right now!

It has a pottie and a sink with 12 gallons of freshwater. Don’t need much more in a 25’ that will get used in 90F weather.

If it didn’t have a head, I would have ordered it without.

I'm jelly OP.

I know what they cost as I have been looking at new boats.

How many years did they give you as an option for the loan?

Great boat.
The head is for the wife's comfort.
Usually they are in the center console.

No radar?
What is cruising speed?

It gets almost 4 MPG around 24-25 MPH. Tops out at 52.

No radar, don’t really have a need.  But may add in the future since I already have 2 NSS12 Evo 3 units.
