That does like pristine. Wow.

I have one of those sitting here that I have been trying to give away.
I no longer have any power supplies.
At one time, I got on a Heathkit kick and owned a bunch of Heathkit stuff including a bunch of power supplies. This is the last radio and I have no more power supplies.

I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled it out of the box as to the condition.

It's a great rig. A friend had one and we used it several times on Field Day. The output network easily loaded a W3DZZ-type trap dipole on 80-15 Meters.

I have one and one for parts.  I've made more contacts on it than my Yaesu 857.  The Heathkit is easier to use.

The power supply is harder to find.

That was my first "real" rig. It was fun and instructive to build it and calibrate it, and was very satisfying to make contacts with something you put together yourself.

I sold it loooong ago, but found a good deal on anHW100, speaker,  and power supply and restored it.  Added a sorta 'hack" version of the missing CW filter to bring it up to 101 status.

Plays well with the small box of 6146's I still had laying around.   I *enjoy* the manual tuning up procedure, and mildly dislike menu-driven radios to this day because of the satisfaction of seeing that wonderful plate-dip.

Nice looking rig-

Got my ticket around 2006 and am a big fan of tube rigs.
Nice thing about the Heathkits is the original manuals tell you how to put them together- will allow you to keep it running into the future.
