Quote History Thanks for the link on the Bear Paw website. I've been looking for something like their 'minimalist' design. I've wanted something very low profile for my preps which would have a waterproof floor, screen and minimal size and weight.
Once when I was about 14 years old I found myself spending a cold, wet, snowy night in the mountains with only a thin jean jacket. I don't want to ever repeat that again. In my search for an impromptu shelter I have considered ponchos, poncho liners, even large garbage bags. Ultimately, I've decided that I should be able to stretch out and sleep without the need to remain in a fetal position or needing to stretch my legs every hour. So yes, again thanks for the link to the Bear Paw tents website. I don't know if I'll order from them yet, but it's possible that that little minimalist tent might be a good solution. Not having seen anything that small, I was almost to the point of trying to make something out of Tyvek and right now, I don't need any more projects.
