Eastern Nebraska and western Iowa there are no 2 meter repeater pairs, and only 1 pair on 70cm last I heard.
The powers to be needs to do an audit. Theres stuff listed that hasn't been on the air in years. |

So which is it, 2m or 220MHz?
 Attached FileI mean my club could certainly stand to replace their current 2m repeater, but I'd rather see them put up a brand spanking new 220MHz (1.25m) repeater. |

Me too. Trying the clubs repeater is on its last legs and they don’t have the cash to replace it. Right now they can barely pay the power bill.
Maybe we’ll be lucky. Thanks for the info. |

Has anyone ever verified someone winning one of their drawings? As in an acquaintance or friend? My wife and I get tons of the emails and used to enter occasionally but not recently. So did many people I know. Nobody ever won a thing.
I’ve had my own horrible customer service experience with Bridgecom, so I’m reluctant to recommend them to anyone outside of these stroke-of-luck drawings. |
