I really dig that green one.

Carried one for work for years, and love the damn thing!! I just wish I still had mine; I would give back the M-4 they replaced it with any day!!

The simplest rifle to clean and maintain. If it is too dirty, just set the gas piston to blow out the carbon from the rifle. It keeps going like the Energizer Bunny!!

Call my ass out all you want, I may be about 10-15 lbs over, but I still can run 5 miles in the middle of the TX day, ruck 10 miles without issue (15 is the key) and fight all day with no issues in 114 deg heat.  I am overweight, but dont let that fool you I know my self and what I can do.
So, since we are all on the issue now, how bout some pics of your ass out "doing" any thing....?

And being a +30 gent, that warbelt worn tight with a chest rig and under armour may not be flattering, but despite how I look my team took 6th in that match.  And I have been training and shooting that ar for over 5 years now (5k through the current barrel) .  I paint it yearly.

But you wont be back to read that will you?

Depending on just who the zombies are, as soon as they ID your location and put a laser designator on your ass, you'll be part of a vapor cloud generated by a Hellfire missile. Or maybe you'll eat an RPG, or your house will be dismantled stick-by-stick by 50-cal fire.

That being the case, bugging out is the only way to stay alive even for a short time. IOW, you will need to shoot and run, and as my old DI said, you'd better run fast and in the right direction.

I love the guys the guys that think the zombies are going to be equipped with military hardware.

The highest odds are civil unrest and small bands of looters and thugs.  The odds of them having a hellfire missile or a .50 weapon are practically nill.

If the military gets involved, it is highly improbably that they will start launching missiles on American soil.  If it gets to that point there will be so much dissension with in the ranks of the military that the chain of command will most likely be broken.  Remember that a good chunk of our soldiers will uphold their oath to protect the Constitution.
