99% sure Ml said on IG, they did not make their own springs, as one of the few (if any) things they do not make in house.

Could be true. I would be surprised. I mean the first question is: why? Most parts in the lower are standard stuff. Make a detent? Outside of the trigger controls, what’s to make? Geissele makes that Maritime bolt catch. Okay. Am I safety? I get that. Roll pins? Buffer detent, maybe. Maybe pivot pin....
There very few parts that matter or can fail. Why bother making generic parts ? Unless you just want to control yiur supply and not run out.
Most of what it is in an LPK, I would only pay extra if I knew the manufacturer was doing a special QA inspection.
But, just my thought. ML and Big-G can choose to be fully vertically integrated if they want. Does not make sense to me. Maybe that is why most LT products are so slow to fulfill. I would rather LaRue get back to basics and make the stuff that matters faster....
