I had an order for and ODG SD Rifle as well. I cancelled at the 8.5 week mark. I also had an order for a 14.5" URGI Near Clone in which my credit card was charged, but I never got an order number. My credit card company eventually deemed the pending charge fraud and declined the purchase. I contacted Geissele numerous times to get the order placed, but they told me it was out of stock and there was nothing they could do. They did grant me a 35% off coupon that I will now sit on until the URGI upper comes back. So yeah.....my black Friday experience left a lot to be desired.

I kind of wish I cancelled mine. I sent them pics of scratches on the upper receiver and complained how the lower is brown while the upper it's green. They asked for more pictures of course but I don't feel like getting into a quibbling match with them.
I'll stick with LT, KAC, and LMT. |

I cancelled on Tuesday.
They owed me a DDC SD and two scope mounts. I didn't want to gamble on the shit show still unfolding. |

That’s bullshit you guys had to wait so long, make 2 credit card payments just to receive nothing & then finally having to cancel your order.

I’m torn at this point. I knew it was a long wait based on threads about prior sales and of course from the disclaimer. After looking at other uppers or building one, I decided that on paper the SD upper seemed worth the savings and wait time. Then the email came about them not being able to meet the expectation that they set themselves for 8 weeks. The full paying customers getting orders fulfilled before BF orders. Representatives on IG calling people uninformed when confronted about triggers and saying that all BF triggers have been shipped (I’m still waiting for my SD-C I ordered with my upper).Then the 5.5% email came portraying the remaining customers like some coveted group saying that the “plan” was to have all SD uppers shipped by Saturday (today). Low and behold, here I am with no tracking and no product. It’s been made pretty clear that they need to stop setting expectations as a way to mitigate damages and string customers along because they continue to prove they can’t even meet the expectations that they’re setting for themselves. As much as I want to cancel, I’ve come this far so I’ll likely ride it out. Maybe it turns out to be a good quality upper that is as advertised. If not then hopefully I can sell it or part it and recoup most of my money. Either way, lesson learned.

I canceled my DDC SD rifle on January 22nd and it took 8 business days for the refund.
I canceled for various reasons but I'm really happy for those that got nice looking rifles. |

I believe I've been patient as many have as well. The "its quality parts and it's ok to wait" argument is out the window by now. I'm a contractor and we get a bad rap for doing such things. You have to explain that there always is a great chance of the job not being black and white, the chance of something coming up unexpectedly is a possibility and will have to be addressed as it comes up with the client being made aware of any actions to take. I'm well aware of the "unexpected factor" but Communication and clarity is key to being known as great. Geissele is aware of this even before this BF ordeal. They're a successful company and I'm sure this will be a blimp on their radar but to me and maybe 5.5%ers it's a a disappointing turn of events. I'm on the verge of canceling. I've called and left a voicemail but havent gotten a response. I haven't gotten around to sending an email yet.

I ordered two rifles (SD, Black and BG Special, ADK). The first was refunded in about 5 days, the other took about 10. The price was awesome, but I just started getting concerned about ever getting anything.

I’m giving them until Friday and then I’m cancelling. There were a few more parts I planned to get for essentially a complete rifle but I honestly don’t trust the company anymore.

Canceled Fed 4th, still waiting on the refund. A few more days and it’ll be past the 7-10 business day refund timeframe. Surprise surprise they’ll be late with that too. Lol. Between the deceiving shenanigans Geissele pulled and the smug response Bill gave to a guy in the GD thread about his messed up lower, I’ll never order through these guys again.
I hope your sales / profit plummet the coming years to come. Get back to just making triggers. The one thing you guys can do right. |

I had my order cancelled 02/06 for a Duty Rifle... G stated that they don’t make a MD compliant rifle even though it’s listed on the Maryland state police website as good to go.
I sent an email back to them 02/06..... haven’t heard back from that email & still no refund.... |

What genuinely pisses me off is I’d have spent that money elsewhere if I’d known they don’t want to sell me a rifle that I can legally own in my state.....
I know G’s BF was awesome and I’m glad some people have genuinely got some great deals out of this this sale. But WTF G.... you hate your neighbors to the south that much? |
