I'm'a jump in here and maybe clear some stuff up.
A good portion of TNVC's staff, myself included, Victor, Sam, Bill, and others are military veterans in some way, shape, or form. We also have current and former LE, and then there's always pro-staff and friends of the company which assist us in many things, including guys like Don Edwards, Jon Dufresne, and others, which when combined, probably equates to well over a century or two of combined service across our small team.
As a result, TNVC has always been happy to support numerous veteran's charities, etc., and have always been willing to help out veterans, especially those who have made huge sacrifices for their country. However, this generally occurs on a discretionary basis.
Now, as to our discounts/coupon codes.
The "First Responder" discount code, which is open to currently active military, law enforcement, etc., first responders is intended to help those personnel obtain equipment that they need for duty use. Does everyone use it that way? Surely not, and we know that. However, I suspect that what you will find across the industry, is that that is usually the "intent" of many "military/LE" discounts. Is it also a "thank you" to those who are serving? Absolutely. And last year we extended the First Responder discount to include medical professionals as well.
We also have several other discount codes that are available if you are qualified, to include the ARFCOM discount that others have pointed out, alumni discounts for students who have attended our Night Fighter classes, and even an affiliate discount code for those who have attended one of Don Edwards' Greenline Tactical NV classes.
P.S., I'm not there all the time, but I hang out in the ARFCOM MIL as well.
While we're not trying to be like some companies where basically no one ever buys at the "normal" price, there's no shortage of ways to get discounts if you qualify. However, simply being a veteran alone is not one of them under most circumstances.
If you want free shit for being a veteran, Golden Corral is that-a-way ---------------------->
