All you LT fanboys be hatten! What do you got to compare to the super precision groups that Geissele customers put out? Nothing. That’s right, can’t touch this.

Something’s funky. That does not look like a 1” group.
ETA On a second look maybe it is. |
|
|
|
That’s standing unsupported, right? Shooting a group like that makes me angry. ??
|
|
That was his best group out of?
Some super precision shooters just aren’t precision shooters. They’re “super.” |

I’ve been watching the threads and Facebook post.
It’s crazy the excuses that are being tossed out. From the colors being way off. Guys getting damaged stuff. G sure jumped out of the pan into the fire over this debacle. |

Well, the Super Duty rifle does appear to use a cold hammer-forged, chrome lined (light or government?) profile barrel.
For that type of barrel and a 1-6 optic, ~1 moa is pretty good and better than most if it is a representative group. It appears that Geissele makes a rifle with a heavier, button-rifled stainless steel barrel- the "BG Signature" or whatever. That would be a very fair comparison to LT's rifles and a great 'grudge match.' ... of course, if the intent behind this thread is a fan boy turf war, disregard the above and carry on. |

Would I have posted that on social media? Probably not. But that seems acceptable and reasonable for a hammer forged chrome lined barrel.
To compare that level of accuracy to a stainless steel barrel, lw profile or not, is not an apples to apples comparison. |
|
Turf war? Hmm.
They are weak right now. We can win. It is February and how many orders from Black Friday have not shipped yet? Customer service is floundering. Many many cancelled orders. Returns for dings and scrapes. Backlog of emails. Phones ringing off the hook... News of full price customers getting orders before BF orders angered many. Instagram comment being deleted as fans hammer them and ask for their stuff. Posts in Industry and GD tell a story of woe... Circle the wagons, hit those keyboards, swarm, swarm, swarm... They are their own worst enemy right now and have a lot of digging to do. Doubt anyone here is looking for any more drama. |

Quoted: There are a lot of light profile barrels that will do well until they get hot. PredaTAR is a great example. Profile is only part of it. ~1” is doing well for a light or gov’t profile hammer forged chrome lined barrel, regardless of brand. That was probably a cherry-picked group, but if it was typical, that rifle is doing well for what it is. This was my point. I have not found many CHF, CL barrels that are honest <1 inch barrels. It is fairly easy to find a button rifled SS barrel what will dependably outshoot a premium CL barrel costing twice as much. View Quote |

Hey Mark maybe it's time for a #realsuperprecision barrel sale! All the former G fans need something to spend all that canceled order money on.

You guys see the G lower in gd . Its nasty looking and bg is trying to defend it. There alot of people cancelling because they're loosing trust in any precision at all. Plenty on there asking if larue makes a better lower lol. https://i.imgur.com/zqjzqze.png https://i.imgur.com/IATpET9.jpg View Quote |

That cropped up on Facebook too. I started a shit storm when told the guy he should have bought a Larue with the added benefit that it won’t bend when dropped.

And what ever happened to the bendy rail thread. Seemed to go quiet but G keeps selling them......

There 125 regulary i think they where around 100 for bf sale. Still to much for that shit . I wouldnt even expect that from psa then G trying to defend it was the icing on the shit pile. Theres another guy that got a complete rifle with a long scratch all the way down his upper under the ano and G gave him the same it happens in forging bullshit. Not to mention that all there rifle models, uppers and lowers all show out of stock or there is no add to cart lol looks like there imploding. https://i.imgur.com/hBs2aIl.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I don't understand how the idiots think supporting a fucked up forge is some how better then a cheap non fucked up forge.
How is their stuff different then other stuff? I get that a forge is stronger, but how is their downs syndrome forge better then a a colt and worth more money. Seems BG has convinced some that drinking from the toilet is cool because we shit in clean water. |
