Welcome to the brand. Thanks for trusting us with the transition. I think we pretty handily outperform Gemtech and we will stand behind the product.
It means a lot to be able to do business with the OG Ar15.com people. |

His process took 22 minutes (entry to exit), from creating my GI order through you to include prints, photos, paperwork and payment. He was able to accommodate me with the GA GI issue program unlike FRS in Waupun, who is a GA dealer but wanted to charge me $90 per can to process.... Thanks again, V OUT |

Are you still enjoying the blast shield?
I've had my eye on that and really the dual-lok system in general for quite a while now. What is the barrel length that you're running it on? How is the flash with the blast shield on top of the flash hider? Any issues with dual-lok? Like I said, it has grabbed my attention as soon as it came out, the system seems very solid and the I'm trying to pin down what mounting system to use. I prefer to roll my own cans but since they sell the mount on it's own, I'm leaning towards choosing it over keymo. |

I am using them on my 9" .300 BLK Sig, 11.5" 5.56 KAC SR15, 14.5" 5.56 Colt M4 and 14.7" 5.56 PSA (FN CHF upper) with great success. I even like it better than my Gemtech Blastjackets!
They hold on well with no rotation, slip or any other issue with a couple thousand rounds through each in all aforementioned platforms. Can't wait for 5 more months or so to pick up the cans. I will say there is a noticeable front flash with the 7.62X51 Ruger SFAR platform. No effect on trajectory or BI at 200m and closer than without them on. Hope this helps. V OUT |

@variable
Damn man! You must shoot a bunch if you've already put that many rounds through these. What range you go to? I just bought the dual lock hub interface for one of my form 1 cans. So we'll see if I can get the YHM kurz mount off and switch it to the dual lock. |

I mainly shoot on private property.
The muzzle areas pictured are a factory 9" .300 BLK Sig Virtus (Tan) and a factory 11.5" 5.56 KAC SR15. V OUT |

Resurrecting this if that's ok. I was considering getting the dual lok blast shield with the dual lok tactical compensator or dual lok flashcomp. How's does the blast shield mitigate flash with that front end cap on a 5.56 rifle? Is it a fireball like most blast shield or does the front cap help? Also, would running one or the other of the muzzle devices help or hurt flash suppression on the blast shield or is it irrelevant? Thanks for any wisdom.

I can only speak from experience of what I am running.
My .300 BLK is subsonic .220 gr (pistol powder) out of a 9" barrel (hider). My 5.56 is various ammo through a 11.5" barrel (hider), mostly. The flash on both are forwarded with the device on with the sound being forwarded significantly as well. You can tell when shooting under overhead cover (without the device - the concussion knocks dust from the rafters and shakes the whole area). Without the device (Blast shield) on the signature is a far noticeable larger bloom at the muzzle. I can only say I use both the comps and flash hiders on the devices with my Ruger SFAR 7.62 (hider), Rem Model 7 .300 BLK (comp), MK 12 SPR 5.56 (comp), MK 18 5.56 (hider) and M4 14.5" 5.56 (hider) and the device seems to have no difference in effect on whether it is connected to a comp or flash hider. I think the encapsulated blast either coming from a comp or hider is equalized by the device. I hope this helps. V OUT |

It sucks on the timing we could have done something with to your door a lot faster most likely - it seems a lot of people are getting quick NFA transfers through that. We had no idea that would happen when you ordered these.
