Throw us a bone! I’m hoping to buy a PSA Krink in 2023
|

I certainly wish. I've heard "soon" and I've heard "Not anytime soon" but not directly from anyone technically official so who knows. I want to give up on the PSA Krink and move on but I just can't.

Shit if they have to throw the SBA3 on a folder adapter and folder trunnion, I'd buy it then just SBR it.

The original shot show gun we saw didn't have the folding trunnion. But, to my knowledge, all the 105s and 104s are being made that way now . Essentially a folding trunnion with a pic rail "plug" to adapt a brace to. Best of both worlds. |

First pic, above the 102 is the PSA krink. You are welcome. |

Any sign of the krink after 2 days of shot? I find it a bit irritating that PSA felt the need to reproduce the STG44 in multiple calibers but hasn't put out a shorty AK. Hoping it shows up the next couple of days.
I imagine it will do very well sales wise. PSA customers eat up barrel lengths that don't make sense ballistically. |

It's been making the shot show tour since 2017?
Hope this isn't another fakeout - We really need this! |

Someone on the Akforum on arfcom said it may be 60 days out. He seemed to speak with some authority, like he worked for PSA. But who knows tbh

Quoted: @PalmettoStateArmory Any truth to the rumors that this is a sanitized Bulgy kit from a few years ago in these pics from SHOT? View Quote There's probably 1 or two parts that were repurposed. From a kit, like "oh we don't have a top cover ready in time" so they threw a kit cover on it. I don't blame them being that especially stampings are hard and for a demo show it's like I'd rather see it even with a part that's not ready than not see it at all. |

Just 5.45s or will there be other cal available?
I have a pair of 5.45 clones but have been trying to find a .556 to sbr that isn't a $3000 arsenal. |
|
|
I think the biggest question everyone has is will there be a version with the traditional rear sight?
|
|
|
Josiah,
Could you confirm if they’ll come with the traditional Russian style top cover or if they’ll come with the SAM-K Bulgarian style that was on it at Shot Show 23. PLEASE I hope it’s the traditional Russian one! |
|
I'll take one in 556 and 762 and I don't care what top cover it comes with

Can I just enter my cc info and have it charged and shipped as soon as they're ready?!

Would be awesome if they had rifles like the SLRs where all you had to do was cut off the excess and crown the barrel when your papers came in. I did 2 that way and it was super easy.

View Quote Disagree. Much easier to just add a stock when paperwork comes back than to cut and crown a barrel. But if PSA offer's both then to each is own. |

All,
Lots of good questions in here. I will answer these as soon as I get the anwers. Thank you, Josiah |

View Quote Slr106 pistol modification Vs 25 or 30 minutes with a hacksaw, file, brass screw, and some valve compound. The 2nd one I cut down was even easier and I was able to leave enough barrel to thread for 1/2x28 attachments. |

Quoted: Depends on the rear trunion used. It's been a few years but the arsenal but I don't think pistols had the side folder trunions. The 2nd one I cut down was even easier and I was able to leave enough barrel to thread for 1/2x28 attachments. View Quote Yeah but they're going to use the proper rear trunnion. I believe all the PSA ak pistols have the folding rear trunnion now. I asked a few times on various sources to confirm and it seems like PSA would do the right thing and just make it "drop in" compatible. |

Quoted: The first release will be the traditional Russian style with the possibility of the Bulgarian style to come later. Thank you, Josiah View Quote Josiah, Thank you for clarifying that. I have one more question. Following the release of the Krink, does PSA plan to offer Krink parts for sale separate for people who like to build their own? Top covers, top cover hinge block, hand guard retainer, gas tube and gas block for example since they’re all Krink specific. |

Apologies if this is taking the thread a bit off topic, I know we all want to hear from PSA with more info and not from randoms like me.
But my primary concern is going to be missing the drop and waiting 3-6 months for another batch. I assume these will be in high demand. So to PSA, are y'all planning on having a decent number to go out? And will there be any sort of warning before they're up and in stock on the site? |
