We should have seen it!!!Thx for emailing me! There is a tolerance but should not be this visible, we check for cant in the QC process. How did you make sure the top of the receiver was level before you checked the reticel?

Thanks Marshall! Wasn't expecting a response on a Sunday, but do appreciate it!
I don't have any fancy scope leveling kits or gun vises, have to make do with home shop tools.
Gun was propped up and leveled via bipod & machinist level. Mount installed & visually checked for perpendicular. Scope mounted & leveled by elevation turret. Looking thru it, the reticle was clearly tilted a bit counter-clockwise.
Plumb-bob on a string about 40-50 feet away (just far enough to be in-focus), adjusted scope to get reticle ranging line vertical. Took 3-4 tries (the Aero Precision mount rotates it a bit when snugging down), but got it near perfect. The turret cant was evident then.
I can live with it, not planning to shoot further than about 300, but I might get excited to try!
With a little photoshop magikry, this may illustrate it better. Not as bad as I initially estimated, only about 2.3-2.5º
