Any idea if the Rock 57 pistol is still coming out in March or 2nd quarter?
Unfortunately everyone in WA is now on a deadline for trying to get mags over 10rds, so it would be nice to know if I should just ditch and look at other options. |

The final design is done and the first few hundred in production, there is then a process where the first few are made and tested by other people. We are in that phase. Email me [email protected] and I will send you a few mags so you can buy one later.
Thanks, Jamin |

I know designing and getting products to market is not an easy task. Hopefully your low rate initial production batch clears testing smoothly. Sincerely, Tyler |

I’m very very excited about the rock, will it be in a demo range to shoot or just on the table to look at? |

Keep it up Jamin, awesome work. My latest PSA order is inbound as we speak, customer for life. (PLEASE MAKE GRENDEL AMMO SOON!)

Shot it today, i will definitely pick up the threaded/optic version when they come out.

I shot the two in the photo above this weekend as well. I too will be buying a rock when the optic cut model is available, shot great.
The dagger exceeded expectations, I really like the rear sight moved forward of the rmr cut, I hope they do that on slides without the holes down the side. The trigger on the rock is really good for a factory gun at that price point. The trigger on the dagger is much better than expected and certainly shootable but I will be getting the frame with no trigger and put something a little better in there. I’ll be getting both. |

Another WA resident here... I see the mags posted on your website, but they have not yet gone in stock. Any idea on when they go in stock? I really want to go Rock 5.7 over the Ruger, but need to be able to secure mags first. Do you know the price the mags will be?

It was in stock for about an hour yesterday.
I'm waiting for the optics/threaded model but i was tempted. Attached File |

I picked mine up today. My mags hold 24 easily, I will try to get to the range this weekend to see if it does.

Picked mine up today also. Love the feel of it....great grip design.

Not sure if the mag will lock in with 24rds loaded, as my pistol is still in the mandatory waiting period that WA state has. I had a bunch of people asking me about the Rock 5.7, one guy checked the website while I was in the shop and PSA was already sold out again. Really excited for when I can take my pistol home, so I can recontour the mag extension I designed. About a 1.25" base bumps the capacity up to an even 30 rounds. |

@alphagunner
Can you provide some feedback now you’ve shot it? Do you have another 5.7 pistol to compare against? Any videos or photos from your range trip? |
|
[#37]
I have a FN 57 and I do prefer it but the Rock so far seems to be a good buy. It prints very high, I am not sure at what range the factory sights are regulated. I would wait for the optic ready model to come out if I had it to do over.

|
[#38]
Thanks for the feedback.
Anything else you noticed compared to the FN 5.7? For instance; 1. What’s the recoil impulse like? 2. Weight and balance? 3. Takedown vs FN? 4. Any other striking difference? Thanks again for your feedback. |

Spare mags are back up, just ordered a few for a gun i don't own yet ??

[#41]
1. What’s the recoil impulse like? Pretty much the same. The grip is better on The Rock
2. Weight and balance? Didn't weigh them but they have to be close to the same 3. Takedown vs FN? The Rock is easy to field strip but so is the FN 4. Any other striking difference? How the sights are regulated. |

Mine throw brass 12-15' at 4:00. Super easy to find.
I also noticed I need to do a low hold on the sights. I need to upgrade them to night sights. |
