Funny I can still smell the chi-com oil these things were packed in in my head. Sort of like some Harbor Freight items were packed - You guys need to smell that - I'd wear it as cologne : )

This is one of the few AK's that's acceptable without a cleaning rod.
Seriously though PSA I know people give you guys a lot of slack, but what you guys are doing to the entire industry and further more the AK industry is super cool. I'm detail orientated so stuff like the Chinese markings for the selectors is awesome. I can't stand when something just isn't right without much reason for it being that way. Anyways, love you PSA. Need to buy some more or your stuff, lol. |

Very cool. Will there be options for furniture?
Now all you guys need to complete your AK lineup is an RPK. hint hint |

I am so in for one! I am even going to plead for a 5.56 model!

Quoted: Any Idea on Price? Saw the same post on FB but says 60 Days. View Quote I'm sure no matter how much it will be unattainable for the first few months. At under $800 I'd think about it hard, at under $700 I'd buy now. I'll get one if affordable either way but at 1k+ I want other AKs first. Might get it on the 2022 list with a 556 AK and Romania parts build. |

As the owner of a NIB Polytech Spiker that will never be fired by me, I have been waiting for this. Just needs a cleaning rod to complete the look. I assume there is provision on this to install one?

Don't forget the side folding metal & Bakelite stocked Chicom AK
That is another popular one. |

View Quote Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File "we are doing a midnight blue cerakote to give it that blue look. Spiker on the left standard black on the right" I'm really liking the wood. For some reason American companies just can't get the wood right on any AK these days. That's what really sold me. That along with the small details like the chinese characters on the receiver. The cerakote blue is a good compromise IMO. This will probably allow it to be under $1k but still have a 'blue' to it. Instead of just going with the standard black. |

I'm seeing gf4 models at $1000 and prices are right in line with the gf5. I assume a little premium over the standard gf4 in this case so at or over $1000 is my guess.
Love this so far but I probably can't justify anything around a thousand personally but I'm sure no matter what they will sell out in minutes for at least 6 months. Down the road I'll grab one no doubt and love this. Everyone is making weird tactical AKs but this is the direction I like. |

I saw the spiker and the Krink in shot show footage - I hope there is enough time between releases for me to get both!

Is it me or is there daylight between the bayonet and the bottom of the lower hand guard when the bayonet is in the folded position? The pics of Chinese AK's I’ve seen online look like the bayonet is slightly recessed into the lower hand guard when folded. I prefer the looks of the Chinese AK with the bayonet in the folded position over PSA's. However, this will not stop me from getting one of these rifles when they become available.

I can’t figure out how to embed a photo from my Microsoft OneDrive account but the link is above. It’s one of PSA's pics of their spiker from above. When you zoom in, you see a small gap between the bottom of the lower hand guard and the bayonet. The Chinese lower hand guard has a groove that allows the bayonet to be partially recessed in the folded position. Perhaps, I’ll give PSA a call on Monday to ask about this. |

I received an email reply from PSA Customer Service this morning to my question about whether or not there is a small gap between the bayonet and the lower hand guard when the bayonet is in the folded position. PSA confirmed what I thought I saw in a couple of the photos even though it’s kind of hard to see.
From PSA Customer Service email: “….you'll see that there's a small space between the bayonet and the hanguard. However, the bayonet does make contact with the rear end of the handguard.” I don't know why PSA did not designed the bayonet so that it’s partially recessed into the lower hand guard like the Chinese AK. Don't get me wrong, I am really looking forward to the release of this rifle. I plan to order one as soon as they are available. I'm just concerned about how the rifle will feel in the supporting hand since the bayonet is not recessed. |

Most aren't into the comfort of this model, more of a shooter collector without the cost or worry of wearing out an original. I'd love to see a Chinese Bakelite side folder repro too. AKs seem to be the only made in China product people pay a premium for LOL. Funny what a ban or tarriff can do to an economy I am on the fence ordering this ASAP as soon as its in stock or waiting for the PSA Krink - But don't want the Krink to be a moving carrot like the MP5 and then miss out on these. |

What's the time frame on these?
Uncle puddenhead is allowing me a small refund this year on my taxes and I gotta blow it on something. |

Josiah, what are the chances we can get the front sight base/spike as a separate item? to convert our Mak 90s? |
