Are the rumors true that there is going to be a Sabre line for the PA10?
|
|
Yes. They’ve posted the first model on Instagram. Looks like a take on the M110.
Seems cool but I won’t buy a large frame 308 AR again. I’d rather use that extra 2 pounds somewhere else. |

Will there be parts compatibility (using uppers, lowers, BCGs) with KAC and LMT?

Quoted: Will there be parts compatibility (using uppers, lowers, BCGs) with KAC and LMT? View Quote In the AR10 platform it is best to stay with one manufacturer as there isn't a true standard like there is with the AR15. Some parts may work with others, but we don't test our parts compatibility with other manufacturers. Thank you, Josiah |

View Quote Nice. So it looks like the forged receivers have the curved DPMS cut and the billet receivers have the sexy slanted armalite cut. |

Sold out in less than a few minutes and was $1449 for the billet version. Waiting to see a video review on it.

@PalmettoStateArmory I know the Super SASS version, which is the one I am interested isn't going to be till Q4 if not later than that, but would you know if the barrel is going to be .775" OD or less?
I would like to order the Griffin PSR Dual Lok for it like you showed on Instagram. |
|
So the Sabre is the same parts/pattern as the PA10 do I have that correct? I am trying to figure out what exactly the Sabre is.

Quoted: Nice. So it looks like the forged receivers have the curved DPMS cut and the billet receivers have the sexy slanted armalite cut. View Quote @PalmettoStateArmory I was wondering about this as well. So are the forged Sabre 308 uppers are fully compatible with a PA-10 / PA-65 ( all ) Gen lowers ? And is the billet Sabre compatible with KAC'ish / Armalite cut lowers ? I see the mags with them appear to be D&H ish, so Magpuls will work as well ? , in both Slant cut and the Forged ? And if possible , are the BCG's both typical PA10 / DPMS pattern ? And the barrel nut pitch is DPMS / normal PA10 ? No issues with any of the decisions, just clarifying, please. |
|
|
Quoted: The current PA10/ PA65's do not. I would assume the forged Sabre would be the same... so no dice. View Quote I asked PSA that very question on Twitter. Their response was that the M110 clone they just rolled out is SR25, but the forged/MLOK version is DPMS so it should work with Aero or other DPMS pattern lowers. Operative word being should, ya know how it goes with AR-10 parts interchangeability. |

The SABRE-10 forged version uses the same forgings as the PA10. We can only guarantee compatibility with the our PA10 line that we produce. The Forged Sabre parts are compatible with our PA10 line. The billet line does have slant cut receivers, but no guarantee of compatibility is made with any other manufacturer. This is why we will only sell the billet upper/lower as a complete set.
Thanks, Josiah |

Does the Sabre 10 use Magpul 308 mags?
@PalmettoStateArmory I checked the website but I didn’t see a magazine type specified. Thanks! |

They aren't reviews if they're paid for or only shoot a couple dozen rounds

I got to shoot the 308 two days ago.
Hit 2 out of 3 on the 600 yard steel. It’s a solid rifle, just my .02 |

Damnit! The FDE 6.5 was briefly in stock, by the time I got to submit order it was gone.

This is an exciting offering, and forces folks to take notice.
I see that from the Daily Deal to the version the Colonel reviewed, some cosmetic enhancements have been made- swapping the Saudi looking logo for 5 lines of text, removing the forward assist, making six-faceted surfaces on the upper... Are there plans down the road to: Clone the adjustable stock Modify the serrations on the BHO and mag release Not drill the small holes in the rail that are perpendicular to the bore axis Modify the 6 faceted surfaces to 3 faceted surfaces Move the SN to the left side and do 5 lines on the right: RIFLE, 7.62MM SABRE-10 PALMETTO STATE ARMORY COLUMBIA, SC USA ...and skip the plastic, non-adjustable bipod and baggie? |
