Terrible.
Might as well be dealing with the ATF.

No doubt, it's the pits having to wait a long time for an order like that.
Like we said - it's something we continue to work on here, and it is getting significantly better. (Though it probably doesn't feel like it if you've been on order for 5 months - we get that) Look at the Gen II Razors for a great example, though. Those things used to be unobtanium, and now you can readily find one in stock anywhere you look. The PST Gen II's are in their own bit of unobtanium status currently, but they are getting out there and the production continues to get better, demand just keeps rising with it.
All that said - If you do some shopping around, you can find them in stock. It's when people go to the big names like Optics Planet, Cabela's, or some of the other huge names that everyone goes to that they wind up on massive backorder lists. Heck - if you wanted to get a PST Gen II 5-25x50 EBR-2C MRAD (The unicorn of the bunch) right now, you could call our friend Al over at AAOptics and he'd have a few in stock for you to order today. The guy even has a Mil/LE discount ta boot. The reason he, as well as some other smart shops that we frequently send people to, tend to have some of these more rare items on hand so frequently is because he orders scopes on a consistent basis, before he even has a customer lined up to buy one - he just knows that if he gets one in, it'll likely sell, so he maintains a constant spot in line to get more.
Of course - if you go direct through us (or through Experticity, which is a way of going direct through us) then a fresh order winds up right in the back of the line with everyone else that orders direct with us (Mil/LE/Dealers/Other Industry Partners). It's first come first serve, regardless of who's in line, so it will take a while if there's a big pile up on that item.
Anyway, like we said, we understand the frustration and will keep working on it as best we can.
Thanks!
