I've taken my Dagger to the range several times. It cycles perfectly regardless of the ammo. I've fed it all kinds of reloads in various powder loads and bullet profiles. I've used Glock, Korean, and ACU mags without any problems. It is also easy to get the level of accuracy I want.
I bought it for several reasons: 1. I have an ammo can full of Glock mags for my PCC and needed a compatible handgun. 2. I had been unable to find a used G19 at a price I liked. 3. The Dagger was within my budget. 4. MADE IN THE USA! 5. Made by PSA, a company I really like. I like giving them my money. |

I ordered a complete dagger frame (minus trigger group) from PSA at the end of last month. I picked it up from my FFL but the roll pins included with the frame are IMPOSSIBLE to get into the frame. I got the rear pin to go in almost all the way, about 1/16" sticking out but can't get it flush. I broke my punch tool trying to get it back out. The front locking block pin won't go in any further than 1/8" but that's it. I can literally see the black coating being scrapped off the pins.
I emailed PSA about a week ago but have not gotten any response. Tried calling today but couldn't wait on hold for over 2 hours. Anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket pins or other ideas? |

I chucked mine up in a hand drill and polished a slight taper in them with some sandpaper, after the initial removal.
It made reassembly much easier. |

I got my Dagger slide today - I ordered the RMR cut, Tall sights 1/3 co-witness night sights.
I was sent the wrong slide (no night sight) but the quality of the slide machining is excellent One of the best buys out there - Save a few bucks just order the non- night sight version. |

Can confirm that .40 cal and 357 SIG are a no go with Dagger. The frame works fine with them, but the mag catch (release) seems to be the fail point. Running a G23 (aftermarket) slide, the recoil from 40 and 357 SIG would "kick" the mag out of the lower. When I use a 9mm conversion barrel, it runs fine with no mag "kick". Down the line I may try an aftermarket mag release to see if that fixes it. If I keep a finger under the mag holding it in, then 40 and 357 SIG run fine.

Can anyone verify if the threaded non-RMR version has been in stock at all? I have been trying to get one since release and have not gotten a back-in-stock notification, I've signed up 3 times thinking I might have missed previous releases. I saw the slide for sale in an email this week but would like the complete pistol.

Optic question on the PSA DAGGER COMPACT 9MM PISTOL WITH SW1 EXTREME CARRY CUT RMR SLIDE & THREADED BARREL, 2-TONE GRAY.
Is this available with another optic cut? I'm just getting started in this and was told my Burris FF3 will not work with an RMR cut, but needs something that will fit the Docter pattern. |

Will the PSA Dagger slides work in regular Glock 19 holsters with an OEM Glock frame? Just snagged a complete OEM frame for $100 and just ordered a Dagger complete slide.
Slide will eventually go on a Polymer80 frame and probably will build up a Brownells slide how I want it for carry. |

Seems like quite a value at the $499 price point. I'm going to try to sell some unneeded ammo & guns (38 spl, 12ga low recoil, S&W 6946, G19 gen2, etc) and will look at the upcoming Easter sales. I've been seriously thinking of getting one with night sights and getting the full enchilada with threaded barrel and optic for around the house and maybe some carry once I get used to it. |

I noticed the complete slides are only in 9mm. Currently I only have .40 mags. Are the slides compatible with .40 barrels? I would need both Full Size and Compact slides.
Edit: Bummer, found the answer on previous page. .40 cal barrels are not advised for these slides. That makes things a bit more expensive. Might need to look into Lone Wolf instead. |

Got my Dagger, really comfortable grip. Glocks never bothered me but I am anxious to shoot it with the PSA grip. Nice fit and finish overall.
Popped in the pmag, hit the mag release, nada The mag did not budge, grabbed it and hit the mag release, did not budge. Finally with a lot of pressure on the mag button, got it to release Tried it a few more times and it is working somewhat better (not up to standards for a defensive handgun) but have not had a chance to take a second look. Going to try it again today with an OEM Glock Mag and different pmag. |
