View Quote Yeah, I've read posts back to like 2014. I considered the GT but the point is to reduce recoil and spot the trace, so I went with the safe choice in the BR. I've ordered factory Lapua with the 105s and have Berger 105s, Lapua brass and the HRD mag kits coming. I have 6,000 SRMPs and 8lbs of Varget so whenever the rifle arrives, I should be GTG. It would be nice to get the barrel mounted so I can get some fired cases. Harrells has about 8 different BR dies he makes, he just needs that fired brass. |

I didn't do as well as I would have liked placing 18th in a 40-person field, but it was a solid start. I still have a lot to learn but everyone in the squad was super helpful. Taking my turn on the glass using the Bushnell Forge's in 15x. They were a bit too much for rimfire as the field of view was a bit restricted on some of the stages, but they were better than the 8x Vortex Diamondback binos I also brought with me. As an aside, my Vortex Fury's with AB and range finding shipped today, so they should arrive next week sometime. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/52736/IMG_7543_JPG-1926083.jpg The match: https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/52736/IMG_7525-1926081.jpg https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/52736/IMG_7527-1926082.jpg The Vudoo V-22 in an AICS: https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/52736/IMG_7551-1926080.jpg View Quote You’ve already learned the most important thing...you can’t miss fast enough to get points!! Building a position and getting 4-6hits and timing out will beat going 2 out of 10 every time. Speed come from practice/experience, and it’s easy to get caught up in the moment and start rushing. |

If so, ill go bother LT about it again.. I'm looking to get out of the 260rem cartridge, move to 6.5cm as I won't be reloading for 260 And thanks for posting a longtime ago about Vudoo gun works... I went over to Mile High Shooting and played around with a v22. My new Vudoo will be in my hands by the end of the month. Thank you for making sure I have no money. 😆 |

I actually bought a UU kit to get the 6.5CM barrel and put some rounds through it. I wasn't necessarily disappointed or impressed with it's performance. You all know I have a bias towards 260 and appreciate the velocity increase, but then again, I'm reloading. |

Been a bit since I put the .260 to work.
This morning at Cow Town range in AZ. They recently added some very nice benches. The target that says 915 is actually 1K yards from past experience (forgot the range finder) . Balistac app said 30 MOA but I need a little over 31 today. Played with the Mini 14 and a .22 at 200'ish. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

A few weeks ago at the same place with the Grendel and VQ .22.
