I made an order on the Brownells website a few days ago which happens to be only my third order ever.
This order seems to be going much smoother than my second order, which I wound up cancelling, and received an e-mail stating it was cancelled, but it still shows back ordered when I log into my account.
In either case, when I checked my credit card account online, there are two charges from Brownells. One is one cent higher than the originally stated charge, the other one is one cent lower than the originally stated charge. In the description, one states something like BrownellsInc, the other one states something like wwwbrownellscom.
Is this something you guys are doing, or are one or both of these charges fraudulent? Assuming the original charge, which is in between these two, might still be sitting in limbo for a couple days, the way some credit card charges sometimes do based on how long it takes a vendor to process or ship orders.
Another odd thing is I received a shipping notification that states my package will be delivered in two days. My first order stated 7 days. Out of nowhere, I received an e-mail stating it would be delivered tomorrow, which was 4 days earlier than expected, then I saw delay after delay before the package finally arrived the day after it was originally projected.
In the mean time, I placed an order at Midway. Received an immediate response stating it was being processed. A few hours later received an e-mail stating it was shipped. A couple days later received my order, a day earlier than expected. Two business days later.
