Not sure when the official unveil is suppose to be but Jason Davis wrote an article on his visit to North Wales and spending the day with Bill and Diego Muya to talk about this project. Price point mentioned in the article is $750 for the Super Duty LE.

I have been waiting for Geissele to sell complete guns for awhile. I’ve been building rifles with their parts for about four years now. Would love to get a GA-15 lower to pair with my URG-I.
How about it @GACS? |
|
I am especially at that price point. It is interesting they are using ALG rails and trigger, but understandable if they are trying to be at $750. I would expect some higher tier versions with G rails and triggers available eventually as well.
If they can hit the price point stated in the article they will own the market. That is great quality for not much more than most of the budget guns and way cheaper than BCM, DD, and even colt basic offerings like the 6920. Hoping individual lowers, BCG, and other parts will be available as well I know some people will complain is not all Geiselle but i think this is a smart move. The Gucci guns will come too |
|
Considering ALG is closely associated with Geissele, I’m not surprised at all. Especially to keep the gun at a $750 price point. The ALG rails are a really good value.

|
Well, I will be buying one for work as soon as they're released. Currently using a Colt with G parts.

Thank you all for your interest! Stay tuned in as we approach SHOT!

I’m good for 3.
Could do without the PA State Police logo, but I get it and beggars can’t be choosers. |
|
I can already feel the money leaving my wallet. Hopefully these will be available to everyone
|
|
|
I will be buying one.
@GACS where do I send my deposit? I’ll pay in full up front But seriously I’ll PM you my CC number and you just charge what you want to it. I would like serial number G000087 ETA does this mean the G board will get moved from accessories to rifles in the industry section? |
|
|
|
At $750 nobody will be able to touch this for quality. A few things I’d like to see offered is DDC all the things and a different rail. I get it though. ALG rails are high quality and cheap that’s why they put them on this gun with its price point. I personally just think they are hideous.
Now for things I don’t like about the gun. Super Duty What is this a Ford Truck? I understand G is “super” _________ and this is a duty rifle but it just seems stupid. Also the keystone needs to go. The word Geissele or just a G would be hands down better and I bet everyone that doesn’t live in PA would agree. |

Will that gas system fit under the Mk16 rail is the question.

Nice rifle but I'd definitely prefer the more subdued rollmarks as seen on previous receivers. And DDC of course... http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1159/8888/products/mb2_600x.JPG?v=1527501307 View Quote |

That rollmark could cause trouble if ever stopped by LEO. They might think Geissele Automatics means it's a machine gun. To be safe for civilian users, they should make the rollmark Geissele Semi-Automatics. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'm not the biggest fan of the rollmark either, but I can live with it.
I think a simplified version of their astronaut would be a really cool rollmark. Will the intermediate gas offer any reliability enhancements over midlength, assuming correct gas port sizes for both, or is it just for extra smoothess/recoil reduction? I am roughly familiar with midlengths and correct gas port sizes, but not intermediate. |
|
I agree with the comments on the rollmark, name and rail, but I'll still buy one regardless
|
|
A value-priced Geissele rifle packed with Geissele and ALG goodness and men are concerned about the rollmarks and colors... my goodness, what a strange new world.
I haven't been particularly interested in any new AR-15 rifle offerings in years, but I'll be watching this. |

I’m interested i knowing this:
1. Type of barrel steel? 4150 CMV? Chrome lining done by US CHROME? Barrel ID slightly bigger to accomodate chrome lining? 2. BCG steel? HPT and MP tested? Batch tested? Or ALL pieces tested? 3. Chamber type? At work and only skimmed the article. |

I hope Geissele realizes there is a market for both complete guns, or factory marked lowers.

Well I have more than a few questions all of a sudden.
I know I'll have to wait until shot for most or any answers but here I go anyway. 1. I remember Bill saying they were working on a new look for his black anodized parts, is this that? 2. What does the shape on the logo surrounding the words "SUPER DUTY" represent? 3. Why is the bolt phosfated unlike the carrier that uses the nano diamond coating? And lastly... 4. Can I get a receiver set in green to match my new rail and charging handle? Edit: And buffer tube |
|
2. It is a "key stone" because it's from the keystone state.
A key stone is the center stone at the top of the arch. It holds it all together. |

I know Reed Knight in an interview said SR-25 bolts don’t get near the life they should due to high pressure test loads mandated by govt.

@GACS
Will the semi auto be available to individual officer at that price or are they department purchase? If they are individual purchase... can I get mine before next qualification shoot? |
