Any estimates on current wait times for new LAT handguard orders? Also curious, looking to order an 11" for a Grendel build. Thanks Also, I've found that paying a couple of extra $$ for the UPS Ground option seems to speed things up in terms of "order handling" versus the standard $7.95 Sure Post / Mail Innovations option. |

I've already ordered the 13" LAT on Oct 16th... And I don't mind the wait at all... however, like any new toy, I'm excited to see this thing...
Was just curious if I was looking at shipping soon, or am I looking at Christmas, New Years & beyond! |

The 11.0 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, 2 business days from order to front door isn't too terrible of wait...

If Im using a 12.5 midlength barrel and a pinned gas block will the 11 inch rail be compatable? I watched a youtube video on the LATs install and the youtuber removed the whole gas block. Is this always necessary? And is the 11 inch rail a true 11 inches?

If it's adjustable, then you will almost certainly have to remove it. If it's a standard low-pro type of block, then you will likely not have to remove it. I can confirm 100% that SLR and Superlative adjustable gas blocks will not fit through the back of the rail, but it hasn't stopped me from changing over to these LATs, I love 'em. The 12" LAT is about 5/16 longer than 12" when installed — at least on my upper. I suspect it will probably be around there as well on most others. |

Its a pin in non adjustable gas block. Its made to fit under the centurian arms CMR rail so its as low profile as they come. I went ahead and ordered the. 11 inch SAT after hearing it will slip over the lowest profile gas blocks. I think ill be in the clear. I just have no desire to fight pinning a block under the rail. I was thinking about your question again, and realized that you're going to have to remove the gas block anyway in order to remove the old barrel nut. Also... There is a spacer component to the LaRue barrel nut design that the gas tube needs to go through, as well as the barrel nut itself. So, the only way to achieve that is to obviously torque on the barrel nut, put on the spacer, and then (re)install the gas block with the gas tube going through those 2 items (barrel nut + spacer). I hope that makes sense. |

Ordered my 9” on 1/8, backordered. How long of a wait am I in for?
Will a standard multi tool barrel nut wrench work for this install? Saw a video recommending one with longer pins. |

Still waiting on my back ordered 10”. They do not know when they will be shipping them out.
I will say my 13.2” is the nicest rail I’ve ever owned. I’ve removed it a few times and it’s barrel mounting system is by far the best. |

I have a 10” listed in the trading thread. I bought it for a build that didn’t work out. I installed it on another rifle but swapped it for a longer SAT. The rail is like new the mounting hardware is new.

View Quote All of the LATs I've had (about 4 or 5) have either been the exact length as advertised, or slightly longer. You need at least 0.7" and preferably a 0.8" difference between barrel length and handguard length (assuming the barrel is exactly what it claims) in order to clear the back of any muzzle device. |

My 9” shipped the other day and was delivered today, HOWEVER I’m a little disappointed that unlike the pictures on LT’s site, mine has the cheesy “M-Lok & Loaded” printed on both sides.
I read about this and thought they finally dropped it and updated their pics. Apparently not, and the guy a few posts above who bought a 10.0 also has the cheesy print. Oh well still a pretty sweet handguard for the $$$. |
