Just sayin’ how much longer we got here?
I’d hate to see it happen here, but seems it’s inevitable at this point. Lots of good threads will be nuked |

Lots of good threads will be nuked View Quote Unfortunately lots of good threads are already gone. Half the topics on page 2 are from 2017. This subforum has been much busier than that. For whatever reason there has been some deep cleaning around here. But yeah, I agree it’s probably inevitable. LT is getting much more exposure on Instagram. He may eventually get tired of paying arfcom for the privilege of having a limited presence here. |

Can't believe it's still here, TBH.
Been thinking that for a few years. |

The index shows the LT subforum has over 21,000 topics, but only about 700 remain. I looked at some of the other bigger/more active industry subforums and they are all neutered down to 1-3 pages of threads.
I wonder if they are imposing limits or something. It is really odd that they wouldn’t want to keep all that info around for posterity/search hits. |

Arfcom is archiving threads faster than they did in the past. I was looking for one from January in GD and it were gone |

I think you're right. It looks like they are archiving the threads and scrubbing the authors from the posts. For example, I found this one in a google search from last year, but it's long gone from the LT industry subforum. The older threads that remain must have some sort of flag to prevent archiving.

The reason he isn’t here anymore is the idiot trolls who flock to him and then bitch about him. He never backed down and that’s what the gd pansies expected and it appears as though some mods did as well. I could be wrong about all of this. |

Pretty much why I didn't renew my team membership. I figure with Mark gone, the only reason I was paying for a membership is gone. I keep expecting this forum to go the way of the dodo too. But it's Arfcom's fault for running him off.

I don’t think KAC, LT, or Wilson need any customers from ARF. They’re all plenty busy. The Wilson X9 is over a 6 month wait currently. KAC prices are through the roof.

^^^ to me it’s not about selling. The loss is on this forum and possibly the next generation of gun owners. Where will they go for solid advice like hit it harder with your purse…? But seriously it is about the knowledge lost in those threads. You won’t see people talk about the small details and give accurate advice with first hand experience on a lot of the social media platforms. Plus censorship.
I have learned so much from members here on the LT forms, the Mk12 mega thread, silencer forms and so on. When arfcom is at it’s best it really is a great community, especially in the technical forms. I don’t own a KAC but I appreciate what that company has meant to firearms development, especially the ar15. |

Mark has told plenty of people where to shove it.
Why he continues to pay the bill at this place while getting treated like shit and not given access to the rest of ARFCOM is insane to me. There are a few guys that hang out here I would miss.... But yea, I wouldn't blame him and totally expect it sooner than later. |
