I have two LT-104 mounts on different rifles that are having the same issue. If you grab the scope by the eyepiece or by objective, the scope will move laterally a few millimeters, both right and left. This "wiggle" seems to be where the rings screw into the tabs on the base. It is not an issue with the base not being tight on the lower. The base does not move at all. I've mounted dozens of scopes over the years, and it could be operator error but I don't think so. Both scopes were mounted with blue loctite and torqued to manufacturer (Vortex and Trijicon) specs.
I've re-mounted the Trijicon but the wiggle still exists. Haven't tried the Vortex yet. I own 4 other Larue scope mounts that have no issues, but they are OBR models with horizontal instead of vertical rings.
Any ideas?
