Did it twice, 6 and 9 are the numbers I came up with. Both times were outside of this forum. inside this forum I refreshed 40 times and never saw it. Must be some logic assuming you don't want to see it in your own forum?
Had to use a computer because my iPad doesn't show the banners. I rarely use a computer for cruising the net any more... |

17 and 9.
Honestly, I never pay attention to the adds and links on the top of the page. My mind tunes them out like they are simply static noise. |

31 first set
23 second set Because someone mention the possibility being in this sub-forum might influence the ads, I jumped into another sub-forum and retried 26 on that attempt. I do run Adblocker Plus and haven't white listed anything. There were several blank/black ads, but if you watch closely you can see briefly whose ad is supposed to show in blue letters (dmps, jt, palmetto, etc). I did see multiple repeats for TVNC, Spikes and Windham on all three attemps. |

39 first time
5 second time i do have ad block and it still shows |

I’m on mobile, so there are no ads besides BCM, Stag, and TNVC logos that are always up top.

2 times to get it the first time, then 13 more to get it to show again.

Also, when I click on the ad I get an error page as it tries to take me laruetactical.com and not larue.com

26 Ad blocker on Chrome, still see the adds in the banner. |

On my iPad I saw the ad in the banner when I opened AR15.com. I was automatically logged in so the page knew it was me. Hopped around to 35 different forums and topic and never saw another banner for Larue or anyone else it was blank. I don’t have a PC to test on I spent all my money on rifles.

If any of you are bored, I need two more numbers ...
I'd like to have the average of all the first numbers, and the average of all the 2nd numbers. . |

22. I saw a bunch 2x before I saw yours once. Trijicon, Bravo Co and Silencer Shop among them. 28 on the 2nd go.

It's an effective strategy. When I see an LT email, I actually read it. PSA is about the only regular mailer that I slow down and check every day and that's only because their deals are so damn good and their selection is so broad, it lets me tack the market pricing on items I maybe interested in that aren't a specialty item. I will say, this might be some masterful plan to get the most views of an industry partner thread with a relatively low post count for a thread....

Correct on seeing others multiple times before the next LaRue ad. Ad shows up, no blocking. TNVC seemed to get the highest play in my informal testing. Buy more ads... elsewhere. We have to figure out how to get your name out other than all the word of mouth I do. I've easily told dozens of people and that's great but more often than not, that is their first introduction. Again, great - I understand the power of those personal referrals but it seems a new campaign to expand that name recognition would be a good thing. |

I also agree that you don't overdo the emails and they are a highlight when they show up. Keep them relevant and exciting, as you do now. Seem to have that part of the formula pretty well refined.

19 First time I saw at least one dupe before seeing Larue. Second run, saw the same ad 3x in a row before getting to Larue. Unfortunately, I didn't make note of the ad--I thought I was missing the refresh button. I did notice DSG twice, but not in a row. Just ran it again--15, with no dupes noted. |

First time was 35 times, then 16 and the website quit responding. Cleared my cookies and retried starting with LT at the top. Refreshed 2 times and still LT at the top. Then 8 times for LT to be at the top again.
