I only own an MBT, never even considered the other. I suppose the SSA is ok, but I know Mark has serious OCD about his quality control and the MBT price is really nice.

I voted SSA. I had a MBT, it was ok. I sold a rifle and threw it in there. #GEISSELEALLTHETHINGS

Own 3 MBTs and one SD3G. It feels like a missed opportunity to not add a flat trigger to the inventory though.

Surprised so many of you going mbt over ssa-e even if cost weren't a factor. Mbt is great at $99 but i didnt feel it was as clean as the ssa-e.

View Quote I put a HSNM in my OBR, but that's the only G trigger I feel is better than the MBT. And I still have 6 MBTs waiting for homes. I should probably put 1 in my tAR, to replace the G2S that came in it. |

voted MBT. I have both but MBT wins especially for the money. And I like the feel of the wide flat trigger face.

MBT had my vote well before you posted. Nothing negative to say about the Geissele SSAE... I bought one with their GBT trigger deal for Harvey relief but will be a while before I get to try it as the build it is going in will be a while. My wallet has bought 2 MBTs to the one sale price Geissele so far, only having gotten to shoot one and price there was only one choice for me to make. Nothing against the G trigger just LaRue wins in my case. That said I'll proudly buy and support both companies as I believe they both kick ass and support our community. But in the case of this poll my vote HAD to go to LaRue.

Before I cast my vote 'I HAVE A QUESTION'??????
Where SIR do you STAND on the "Second Amendment" Couldn't help my self. LOL!!!!! Those are some mighty fine triggers ya'll are building. Mighty fine indeed!!! |

Proud owner of 5 Meticulously Built Triggers! Mark, you got my vote!

Quoted: I had a MBT break once in my 7.62 tOBR. A popped primer came out and dislodged the small spring that is seated. It made the trigger a very dangerous single stage MBT. I would say 2lb trigger. It was kinda cool but sketchy. LaRue Tactical swapped me out for a new one. So im sure they can make a single stage if they wanted to. |

Hit it before I saw this thread. The MBT is absolutely favored over the SSA. To be fair, I do like my one SSA-E that I still have and find the MBT to be much closer to the 'E' version than the standard SSA.

I really like the MBT. I traded an SSA that came in my DD 308 for an MBT. My son will be building an AR when he returns from his deployment and he ordered an MBT for it. They are great triggers.

I voted. I will be getting my third Larue trigger with the UU kit I just ordered 30 seconds ago.....

[#25]
I wonder if Larue will work on a single stage trigger? The Geissele SSP looks amazing.
Oh yea, flat trigger too, please! |
|
[#26]
Oh, sorry...I voted for a different fella who is also named Mark LaRue.
Of course your trigger is the better value. |
|
[#29]
My G2S that came stock on my PredatAR (2012ish) is still the best trigger I have ever used. I would like my MBTs better if they weren't so fat and flat. Geisseleallthethings.

Replaced my SSA with an MBT for a test run...MBT is still installed. My voted reflected such...

Mark you got my vote. What suprised me was how your not winning by more. Those people must think “I tried this one thing it must be the best, and spent good money no way a product that costs less can be better.”

You've got to be kidding me with this self righteousness. Go check the Geissele forum. There is no circle jerking in the G forum. There was no "rally" made by Bill to get votes going. The LT subforum is the biggest group of nutswingers in all of ARFCOM. Self proclaimed "Larueminati" and you guys that buy every product that LT puts out regardless of it's relevancy. You have your safe zone in here where everybody can rack up 50,000+ posts without having a single dissenting opinion. And god forbid somebody thinks anything different because they will be blackballed right out. You know why the CW guys (and GD for that matter) attack LT? Because they smell blood and know they can get ML and you guys worked up. It's like children pushing each other's buttons for entertainment. Who cares what a poll said in GD regarding triggers? GD is a worthless forum where trolls thrive. But ML is too self conscious to let the garbage just play out and take the high road. All this would go away if it was left idle but GD knows that they can create this reaction every time and thus the vicious cycle continues. I read through that thread and decided to stay out of if as it looked like unless you could throw the most ribbons on the table, your opinion didn't matter....didn't want to get in to that... The interesting part about it, the two companies I follow the most in the firearms industry, both have very vocal owners who both get called assholes and both do more than any others I know to give back to the community and our service members. But heaven forbid they hype up their products, oh hell no, here come AntiLa to tell you you can't...ironic, they are entitled to their opinions, but anything contrary...hell no... I am also in the asshole crew, meh, I can own that.....anyway, flame on.... |
