The enhanced firing pin should have greater protrusion. I can't remember how much more off the top of my head but I'll have an answer for you Tuesday morning when we open.
The additional protrusion has undoubtably worked for us in our tests, so it sounds like we may have sent you a standard firing pin. Especially if you do not notice a difference by visually comparing it to a standard firing pin.
Either way, we'll get you taken care of. What is your order number?

I just received your 7.62x39 AR15 bolt completion kit - enhanced firing pin. The firing pin is the exact same length as my 5.56 firing pin and the "enhanced" 7.62x39 firing pin I received from PSA. None of them work with Wolf 7.62x39 ammo. Lots of primer strikes.
The distance from the end of the firing pin to the shelf that contacts the tail of the bolt is the same as well.
What length is your 7.62x39 enhanced firing pin supposed to be? What is meant by "enhanced".

Got some hard numbers for you.
Our enhanced firing pins protrude .012" farther than our standard firing pins. The overall length of the firing pins are the same.
The additional protrusion is achieved by the collar stop being placed farther back. By collar stop I'm referring to the platform that contacts the bolt tail.
The firing pin tip also has a longer thinner taper, so the wider part of the taper doesn't restrict the protrusion. It allows the firing pin to take advantage of the farther set back of the base.
The additional protrusion has worked for us 100% of the time with a variety of 7.62x39 ammo, including Wolf. This is with standard GI triggers and a variety of 2-stage triggers.
Couple of scenarios that may be causing your light primer strikes:
I still think you may have received a standard firing pin. We can get it back here to confirm but I need your order number.
Reduced power hammer spring. Are you using one?
Headspacing. If you have too much headspace the primer could be positioned slightly farther from the bolt face, negating the additional firing pin protrusion.
Please give me your order number and we'll get it figured out.
