I ordered this from Good 4 Guns (G4G) on May 20th for $760 shipped, and had it sent to my local FFL. It arrived on the 25th, & I picked it up today. I guess the new 6920's aren't marked M4 Carbine (just Carbine), but the OEM-1 & 2 are. And that's the markings I wanted.
The OEM-1 comes with everything (front sight tower version), but no stock, handguards, or trigger guard. In the box is a lock and manual (no magazine). I added Colt M4 double heatshield HG's, a USGI type trigger guard, and a USGI type stock.
Here's how it looks.
Box end label
Colt Logo with "Colt" spelled out. And "M4 Carbine" marked. It also has selector stops.
Cage code on upper receiver & reversible Colt safety (I'm a lefty). You can see the color isn't the best match. And there is some wiggle between the upper and lower.
"M4" marked upper and T marked top rail.
Cage code barrel marking. "R" marked under handguards, but not dated like older Colts.
Proper staked castle nut on 4 position tube and "H" buffer.
Faint "C" on Carrier. Solid "MPC" on bolt. No marks on extractor. Solid gas key staking.
The pistol grip it came with was pretty shiny and is the wider back style. I like the feel, but swapped it for a duller finish one of the same style.
A few minor blemishes & some scratches on the barrel. The charging handle also drags in it's channel. A BCM gunfighter I tried was even worse, so I went back to the Factory one. But overall I'm happy. And it's what I wanted.
The end product.
New and old.
