TNVC is proud to announce the addition of Army SOF veteran Bill Peterson as our new Training Manager as part of TNVC’s Training & Education Team. As part of TNVC’s core mission to educate and train consumers, armed professionals, and end-users in the use of Night Vision, Thermal, and Visual Augmentation Systems technologies, Bill will manage TNVC’s Night Fighter Training Program.
As a 22+ year Army veteran, Bill Peterson has served in a variety of light Infantry, Armored, and Special Operations units with the majority of his combat experience being with 3rd and 7th Special Forces Groups, and participated in the initial invasions of both Afghanistan in 2002 and Iraq in 2003. Spending the majority of his career as a fire supporter, Bill brings a vast amount of experience in joint, multi-service/agency operations, enabler and fires integration and direction, and sensor systems integration for observation and reconnaissance. During his Army career, Bill was responsible for creation of the Joint Fires Observer (JFO) program, as well as the integration of Fire Support Officers into the Special Forces Regiment, and the JTAC ASI (Additional Skill Identifier) for Army Forward Observers and Special Forces Soldiers. Bill began training with Pat Rogers in 2009 and his trainer apprenticeship in 2011; remaining a dedicated student of weapons and tactics instruction since. He has taught military personnel, law enforcement professionals and civilians with EAG Tactical and Sentinel Concepts in a variety of flat range and tactical settings.
With more and more military, law enforcement, and commercial customers placing an increased emphasis on VAS technologies, the need and demand for professional training from experienced end-users has become increasingly important. TNVC has always placed a strong emphasis on educating end-users from all walks of life, from professional to recreational. Recognized both in and out of the service as a passionate trainer, Bill brings a wealth of experience, expertise and excitement to his classes, and has already been a tremendous asset to the TNVC team, and in his new capacity as Training Manager will continue to expand and grow TNVC’s training programs in order to better serve our customers and the community.
Please join us in welcoming Bill Peterson to the TNVC Team!
