I read on another forum that the BCM furniture previously used on the Saint line was sort of "generic" - that it didn't have the normal BCM star and logo. I haven't seen a Saint in person since reading that to check, but if that's true, I guess that would partially explain why they wouldn't just sell the same M LOK furniture as-is. However, it's definitely been a while! Hard to believe we're creeping up on the halfway point of 2021 already.

Looking at the images on Springfield's website, the BCM M-Lok handguard appears to have the exact same "minimalist" branding on it as the Keymod version did (both the ones originally only available on the Saint ARs and the ones BCM is still selling on their website). The only BCM markings I can detect on any of the versions, past and present, is a tiny version of their star logo on both sides, at the very front of the handguard - directly forward of the last M-Lok slot (it's pretty small and can be fairly easy to miss when looking at them). So, I can't see that being a hindrance to them producing them for individual sale.
As you say, it has been a long while (it's also been a year since BCM's own post on this thread, stating that they would be selling them in 2020, which obviously didn't happen). So I'm curious what the holdup is? Because it definitely seems like it has been a significantly longer wait then what occurred with the original Keymod versions (I could be wrong about that though).

I gotta say, that B5 handguard is kind of hideous. Sort of looks like some basement holster guy made it with two sheets of Kydex, a heat gun, and a 2x4.
I definitely agree. I briefly considered the B5 versions, until I looked closer at them. Not only do they look ugly and cheaply made, they don't even appear to fit very well (not to mention the apparent lack of any texturing that would enable the used to get a secure grip on them - which is one of the things I like about the BCM PKMR I'm still using).

I'd still go for a... PMCMR. Not sitting around waiting for it though.
I'm still going to hold-out, since I don't see any other options out there that peek my interest. BTW, according to Springfield's website, on the "Features" section for the Saint the "new" M-Lok version is listed as "BCMGUNFIGHTER™ PMCR, M-Lok", or I assume just PMCR for short. Whatever they call it, just please, BCM, I'm begging you - start selling them.
