Hey guys, first post and I am a newbie so pardon my ignorance.
I have a BCM EAG that I really like but I am wanting to add a BCM MCMR 13” rail to. But between the pinned/welded comp and the front sight, it probably wouldn’t make sense.
It seems like it would make more sense to just get a new upper with the MCMR rail or a new full rifle (even possible to find right now?)
It is my understanding that because the EAG is no longer in production, I could get a decent return by selling it. So, my question is, do I sell just the upper and get a new MCMR one to put on the EAG lower (BCM suggested this as a comparable match to the EAG barrel https://bravocompanyusa.com/bcm-bfh-14-5-mid-length-upper-receiver-group-w-mcmr-13-handguard/) Or is the value in selling the complete EAG rifle and then try my luck and finding a complete BCM MCMR rifle in stock?
Sorry for the long post, thanks for the help.
