I’ve never heard of G Cerakoting anything. I have seen a couple people mention it looks like it is but after reviewing pictures it clearly wasn’t.
I’ve gotta get in my soap box though about this finish everyone says is superior to annodizing.
Cerakote has proven itself to be the biggest disappointment as a replacement to type 3 annodizing. Whether I’ve gotten from the factory or had it applied after the fact, it just isn’t as durable of a finish compared to annodizing. Chips from light dings on wood, concrete, or a metal barrier. Scratches from all three materials. Also, depending on the person’s ability that is applying it, you may have high spots in some places. This tends to build up near locations with holes (takedown/pivot pin, trigger pin, mag well…etc) causing fitment issues.
In my opinion, cerakote is a simply just a cosmetic upgrade (if you want camo, multi color, different color) but rather it has been viewed and marketed as a superior finish in the areas of durability, longevity and lubricity to annodizing or even nitride/DLC on handgun slides.
Lube your gun, get out and train, and just use spray paint if you must have a cosmetic upgrade.
