For those wanting to try playing with it in their DI45s, some things I've learned. I am using 45 Super brass, others are having success using regular 45 brass, which I think would probably be okay since your case is fully enclose with the AR chamber. The biggest problem I ran into was that I was catching brass between the bolt & front of the ejection port length wise. So I switched the buffer & spring with a heavy buffer and spring intended for a blowback 45 and this has seemed to help. Right now I'm running velocities of about 1450 with a 185 JHP, 1225 230 RN, 1200 250JHP and 1190 255FP. Best accuracy so far has been the 185 JHP which are Noslers I got on sale. I've got some 200 JHPs coming in nest week so I'll be trying them soon.
The biggest thing I've learned was that you need more than the standard carbine buffer/spring combo that you use with the 45ACP.
