Anyone tried it yet for passive aiming with night vision?
I know it’s fairly new but it may be the make or break detail for a couple purchases.
How about the other Pa/holosun red dots?
Edit
Just got one
It seems easier to see through than an aimpoint compm3 and vortex spark ar. Nothing else to look through at the moment. These are quick and dirty observations after only a few minutes playing around with them, no shooting. This is with a wp thing filmed pvs14.
The nv settings are very faint compared to the other two. The dot was easier to loose in mixed light, but great in the darker dark, with no blooming or washing out. The aimpoint seemed to have the slightly brighter Nv settings but it was harder to see through the tube. Compared to the vortex that had glass in between the aimpoint and primary arms, but the lowest setting of the dot bloomed badly in full dark, making it hardest to see through the tube.
Using a particular stick in the garden, the aimpoint image was too dark to see, and with the vortex the dot was too bright to see the target past the dot. With the PA dot you could see said stick and aim at it.
Only complaints are that the brighter nv setting isn’t slightly brighter to be a little easier to see in mixed light. The mount is nice, I just wish the screws were slightly longer to allow all the risers to be stacked.
** if you’re not using night vision my complaints probably don’t apply
