Ill admit, I like it. Not going to run out and buy one as I already have 9 Colt's and am saving my money for other stuff. But if I was in the market for one, and that was in the box. Id be happy with it.
Enjoy your new rifle or should I say Carbine OP! |

Just brought one home $1099 + Tax. It has the Prancing Pony, what's not to love?

I handled one yesterday. They are nice. Again, I wish they rollmarked, but other than that I like it.

Saw a new production 6920 at a local craptastic gun show... $1700 - dealer was throwing in a nice China made soft case to sweeten the deal... lol.

I wonder if they are going to continue the M4A1 with government property rollmarks?

I made an impulse purchase and picked up a couple. Local dealer had 3 on the wall priced at $1229. All the guys in the shop were talking about the shitty quality and how they must be being made by Anderson.
I asked since they hate them so much, what kind of deal were they going to make. I am glad I worded it that way because I was originally going to say I thought these were priced at something like $1089. The guy comes back with $999 plus tax. I was hoping to get consecutive serial numbers or something, but they didn't have any. I was definitely going to get one, but decided on two at the last minute. Both rifles have C marked carriers and MPC marked bolts. One oddity I noticed. One has a basic white label on the box. The other one has a yellow outline on the white label. Not sure what the significance is, if any. Both are marked and equipped the same. |

Some Colts seem to come out of the factory with what others would call blemishes compared to other manufacturers. One of the two does have a scrape or scratch under the anodizing. I'm not that concerned with it. I'm sure the rifle will still work well. I don't consider the new method of marking an indicator of quality, so if that was their main complaint, I don't agree with them. |

I bought 2 a month ago & haven't seen any since and one of my distributors has sold out of 6721 barreled uppers. |

I have a CR6920 on the way. I will post some thoughts on it at some point this month. The rifle could be a couple of weeks out still.
CR6940's are probably not going to be commonly seen so I may have to get one of those too to go with my Colt monolithic upper collection. |

They were normally used for California compliant rifle boxes but now are just being consumed in manufacturing in place of white labels when necessary. |

I was at a local shop yesterday and they had a Colt carbine hanging on the wall for sale $1,299. Did not stay long enough to see what markings were on it.

I bought one early October. Paid too much, but no regrets. Have close to 500 round through it and it runs flawless with different factory ammo I've used. All my ejected shells land in a neat pile approx. 8' away at 3:00 and it's accurate as I'm capable of shooting. There were no cosmetic issues at all with the exception of some barrel scuffs on the Parkerizing. All the factory "C" marks and Colt's CAGE code are there on the upper, lower receiver barrel, BCG, stock and CH. Fairly new to AR's so older Colt markings, logos, etc. don't mean a whole lot me.

I will come back to this post later down the road. Right now it's a toss up as to who does or doesn't like the new look. I predict, as with all Colt stuff, the new stuff in a few years will be SUPER COOL and the one to get with the crowd. Especially with what is going back in the White House..... Stay tuned..... |

It'll take some adjustment time as far as markings. |

I ended up selling mine to my buddy who really wanted a 6920. The only thing I didn't like was the completely sanitized bolt and BCG. I expected the BCG to have no markings, however I assumed the bolt would be MP marked. The barrel and upper was cage coded. No noticeable tooling marks present either.
Cheers |

Clyde Armory also just got in about 20 of these. I didn't look to see if they had the new CR logo or not though I wish I had. My guess is they do. That Centurion rail didn't do it for me, also not a fan of the metal magpul sights, so I walked away from this one.

Ok colt.
I don't care. Make a mid-gas 16" variation with a full length rail, adjustable gas block, and keep all the mil-spec reliability upgrades and im in for $800. But if I can build it just how i want it (in non-panic) times for the same or less $, i have no use for a pre-roll. |

I just got the new cr6920 and it does say m4 just not on the lower its on the upper in front of the upper receiver by the delta ring. My bolt carrier is c marked and bolt is mpc. I love this new rifle so I've added an old colt carry handle and removed the mbus, I was going to stick my eotech on it but I kinda like the look with the handle. I got mine from my lgs for 1129.

The CR6940 came with the new lower. I would have no reason to think that the Magpul furniture would be anything different.
