so, there has NEVER been a buy back when other items were prohibited. That will have to pass parliamentary approval...I doubt it will happen - even though he says it will. Grandfather has occurred in the past. in two forms.....the guns become safe queens for the rest of your life or they can be used at a range only.

the only ones that can be used at a range only are short barrel handguns (sub 105mm/4.13inch), 25 and 32 ACP handguns. Prohibited and converted auto rifles are permanent safe queens.....FN FAL/HK G3/Steyer AUGs/aemi auto AK's/etc.

THERE IS NO REASONING OR UNCOMMON SENSE IN OUR LAWS.

the rcmp are being very secretive about the type of firearms he used. How long does it take to look at a firearm and go..oh it's an 870 shotgun.

because the Liberal gov't does not like guns, they hate the idea that citizens should have guns. The way they have written the order in council has also now lumped traditional hunting 12/10 ga shotguns into the mix. It created an uproar (because now the fudds are getting their precious hunting shotguns banned when they arent part of the problem according to them) that the public safety minister who has been the point man on this, came on twitter - ala Trump - to clarify the law they just passed, and said no that wasn't the intention, they are not banned.....a day later, a gun shop calls the RCMP and says we have an Iver Johnson break action shotgun (old ass shotgun) with a choke that measures <20mm, but the bore further back measures >20mm, is it prohibited? RCMP tech says, yes that is a prohibited shotgun.

This is far reaching for us. They used it as their platform when they were elected as a majority gov't then didn't bring in a ban....then the second election occurred and they came back with a minority gov't and didn't do it, until the mass murder in Nova Scotia.

it's a well know fact that the UN want's civilian disarmament. The Liberal gov't buys into that from a globalism perspective and an ethos perspective. I wasn't for the legalization of pot, but they brought it in. Bill Blair was a big pusher of the law changing, and is a big investor in the cannabis market also.

I have heard stories from fellow Toronto cops that when he was in the drug squad, he was less than a stellar cop.
