Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - selling - internet transfer

Selling some firearms at gunbroker. Used to use a local FFL to ship (Shooter's Bench in Russellton, PA but they went out of business). Don't want to deal with shipping policy hassles at Fedex / UPS / USPS or requesting copies of the buyer's LGS FFL license. Found it much easier to arrange a dealer-to-dealer transfer.

Anyone know of a gun shop north or east of Pittsburgh who would be willing to ship a gunbroker sale for a reasonable fee?

If you don’t get any good suggestions Gunbroker has an FFL locator and most times it has the fees listed.

Others have mentioned using the service SHIPMYGUN.com. Supposedly it’s cheaper than shipping on your own and as easy as shipping any other package. I think it was said to be run by Buds Gun Shop.

I just shipped a gun I sold on the EE at Fenelton Firearms very recently. First time I used them for shipping a gun and I was very happy with the service. Fair price too.

If that's a little too far north there's also a gunsmith in Gibsonia I've used for that before. Haven't talked to him in a couple years though. If interested I can dig up his info. Fenelton is a nicer drive for me.
