Since today was opening day in the southern part of the state.. Lets see the pics...

Neighbor up in ny got an small 8 pointer..

I just saw a button buck if you wanted to call that.. I video him as he walked around me and eat..

I saw four bucks while we were hunting today. They all looked great in the back of the trucks as they went by us. Nothing huge. Two five pointers, a six and what I think was a four.

We also didn't see anything all day.

Got this one yesterday. It was about halfway through a drive we do that is probably an hour and a half long trying to sneak out.

Bad year for me.. both my shooters got shot while I was working overtime.. this year may end my 5 year streak of wall mounters. I passed up 2 very nice deer during bow knowing there were two huge bucks on my land and now it looks like I will be eating my tags this year.. I’ve been extremely blessed in the last few years so I won’t complain or get discouraged, but things are looking rather bleak.. I refuse to shoot a deer just to fill the freezer or for the fun of it.. so unless my cams start producing some new contenders I may just gracefully bow out and start planning for next season
