I am looking to get some work done and would rather drop rifle off than mail it out....

I have a SAC built 223 F Class rifle trainer that I want to cut the barrel down on significantly---like from 30inches to 18
And then get it threaded and recrowned obviously.

Anyone have a local smith they trust within an hour or three of twin cities?

+1 for Jim Pixley  [email protected] . He did a great job threading my 10/22 to sparrow specs.

any of the above able/willing to build a FAL?
i have a kit from my dad, but it would need full assembly/required Murican parts, and re-parkerizing (or whatever it normally would have.)
