As others have stated, it varies by issuing PDs, in my town it took 8 weeks after all the references where submitted to get the electronic handgun permits. Also probably best to apply 3 at a time.  Even if you don't use all 3 its good to have, rather than wait again.

Consider yourself lucky.  I'm waiting 5 months.  My references were done the day after in sept.  

Ridiculous.

I just received mine today . References were done 8/14/2020 . I would have gladly accepted 8 weeks
