DEnnis Romboy and KSL are about as anti gun as you can get.  This is going no where as the legal opinions tend to favor separation of powers.  The President does not have the ability to create laws .  He is to enforce laws passed by congress.  The Democrats at Utah state level are just trying to impress their base.  Not a chance that this will pass nor is it  enforceable on a city level.

Neither did red flag, safe storage, or liability of a firearm custodian, or universal background checks.

I think we have 17 Democrats, and one Republican (Stephen Handy) that sides with them on gun control bills.

UT is conservative but we need to work _very_ hard on solidifying the population's position on pro-constitution.  There's lots of kids here and it won't take anything more than our own Sandy Hook to swing public opinion of the stay-at-home moms and dads to make us just like Colorado.
