@mojo, I hope this is okay here...
I plan to purchase a soda can launcher from F5 Manufacturing, and they offer to send 5 if you order 4... savings for everyone! Email me if interested, I hope to find 4 others in DFW who want one. |

you make 5 Quoted: I’m in Option for getting the golf ball adapter with it? you make 6, let me contact F5 Mfg tomorrow and inquire (I was also somewhat interested in that accessory as well...) I plan to order 4 tomorrow (and get 5th free), so the first 4 who responded are definitely in... let me see what F5 Mfg says about 6 total now, as it seems we have the interest I will respond to those who emailed me in a short while once I get settled in for the evening... |

got your email, great! Quoted: If it’s not too late I’m in there may actually be enough interest for 2 orders (buy 4, get 5th one free, twice) I will contact F5 Mfg and see whether that deal also applies to the golf ball adapters too... now we all just need to find a good source for 5.56 blanks! |

Man, this thing is cool. Looking forward to seeing your setups once you guys build them out. I don't "need" this, but might consider picking one up in the future!
|
|
Not now, but let me know how it turns out and I may be in for a second round.

Jeff Tipton @ F5 Mfg said they would also honor the same deal for the golf ball accessory attachment as well... |

Quoted: Still taking orders? you both would bring the total to 10 now are each of you interested in the accessory golf ball attachment as well for an extra $16 apiece? |

Out of curiosity, does F5 have an ATF letter? I know there were issues a bunch of years ago about these being AOW or SBS.

If it is built with a pistol brace is everything in the clear? I would like to better understand the legality of it before committing to the group buy. |

They fixed the issue by shortening the chamber. Loaded ammo won’t close the bolt.
The “barrel” is also plugged on the end. |

I can shoot it at coyotes and not worry about hitting the neighbors house.

View Quote that is correct, per Jeff Milton @ F5 Mfg, who produces these for X Products and worked to resolve those previous issues so now you cannot chamber a live round; there is no "ATF Letter" necessary for these, per Jeff |

Quoted: yes, I blame all you 'Jims' at that last shoot we had down there, that was practically the only thing I fired all day! I've not shot mine since then. Itching to go lob some cans and whatever else I can find. Eventually I'll get a 3D printer to make some of the homemade rounds. |
