I'm hoping 15 will be enough. I'm not as concerned with how rough they are, I just need to pack boxed ammo and reloading supplies.

Life lesson-have enough cans for all ammo and all reloading stuff on hand. Gorilla shelf is not mobile

I have bought from these guys a couple of times:  https://armysurpluswarehouse.com/

I found 8 at a time to be the best shipping cost.

Thank you!

10 bucks each for 50's is the better price than anything I found.

27 dollars shipping for 8.

10 shipped was 47 bucks.

You found that sweet spot and helped a lot. That will get me started. They said 2 days. Thanks again

That’s a pretty cool store to wander around in if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

Keep a eye on Harbor Freight for ammo can sales. They do it all the time. Also I think they brought back their coupon discount which you could use instead.

Well, if you want PLA surplus ammo cans, versus USGI.

They get here tomorrow. I'll fill those 8 and take it from there. They ship very fast. If they are useable I cut a fat hog thanks to Mr Teddydog

Suffice to say, I was/am an early adopter:

there's another 29 or 30 USGI 50 cal cans, awaiting a proper tasking, in MTM ammo crates,. . .  but that'll have to wait until daylight, rather than run up an electric garage door opener directly under Mrs Crabby's crankier sister's sleeping butt . . .

I was going for the gunstore shelf look, and I did it. Love it!

That  gunstore look will be fine in the next (and last) home, it's getting to there that sucks.

Buy, buy, buy.... Sell sell sell

3 days, all in great shape. If I need more I'll hit them up fast.

Thanks again!

Thanks for this thread.  Just ordered eight also.   I usually order from Ammocanman on eBay, because of the free shipping, but his prices have really gone up.  I don't mind a little rust or scratched paint on ammo cans, I just want the seal to work.

Sorry for the misunderstanding I associated PLA to 3D printed material. Not China.

Related note, esstac makes a bag that fits a .50cal ammo can with the lid off. Very cool for storage you can drag to the range.

Where are you in WA? DL Army Surplus in Wenatchee carries a ton of ammo boxes at pretty good prices.

I'm in South king county. Hopefully this can help somebody else looking.

13 bucks each shipped fast is the king of the deals for me right now.

Thank you

I know they aren’t USGI ammo cans, but I noticed these at the Lacey Costco last weekend.

edit: Nevermind.. these are not MTM.. Some other company.  Good price if they are a quality ammo can like MTM.

Looks like MidwayUSA has the real MTM for $29.49. (Made in the USA)
