A neighbor was stalked by a mountain lion some years ago--he'd gone deer hunting down SW of the Springs, somewhere the other side of Cheyenne Mountain. He hiked up some valley with snow on the ground. He stopped, getting the feeling that eyes were upon him. He turned and went back the way he'd come, finding mountain lion prints in his uphill tracks.
