So far we have a squad sized element heading down, just checking to see who else from MD or Southern PA is going.

I'm going as well. Wearing a hat with my ArfCom ham radio patch, and big, dark sunglasses...

I'm just trying to figure out where I can leave my truck without having to take it downtown and park. Maybe I can 'light rail' my way in, like I would do if going to DC...

I'd like to see the focus go from "Guns Save Lives" (which doesn't even matter to them) to "it is clearly illegal and unacceptable for .guv to violate my rights, both 2A and property.".

As a Virginia native. I thank you for your support!!

Keep checking the VCDL homepage for updates (specifically the VA-Alerts link). We here in Richmond are hoping for a huge turnout and again your support is greatly appreciated!

Some guys from the "Shore" are driving down to Accomack an riding the bus.

Catching a bus might be faster an cheaper. As parking is going to suck!

Busses can be found here:

https://www.vcdl.org/

Scroll down an get a seat.

Going. Will have a MD flag with me. Possibly a Gadsden also.

Not to be an ass, but you need to replace the MD flag with a VA one. It's about optics, we will all be Virginians on 1/20.

There has plenty of folks on YouTube saying they are bringing their state flags.

YouTube assholes will be assholes. VCDL has asked for no out of State flags an NO Battle Flags.

What is the better optic? 100,000 Virginians telling their elected assholes NO! Or the news showing large groups carrying out of State flags on VA Capital grounds?

As stated, on 1/20 Lobby Day we're all Virginians.

I had my wife drop me off in the morning and stage at a Starbucks about ten minutes away.

It was cold. But a great day. Shook the hand of the Culpepper Sheriff. He is the one that said he would deputize his county residents. Great American.

Side note. Lots of internet warriors here. When it comes to standing up we have a lot of limp dicks here.

Yeah, there is. We have to keep working to get everyone together.

Went to Richmond with 7 patriots. I feel that it is slowly coming together

I started by asking my brother if he wanted to go with me.

In the end we had to rent a large passenger van for our group from Southern Maryland.

Spent a great day with some old and new friends.

Some of us even ended up on the dailymail.com

Hell yeah, that's how it starts.

Maybe in the future we all can meet up somewhere and do some training or something

Sounds good to me.

Our side needs to be building networks so we can be more effective in fighting for our rights.

Anyone can do what we did.

We started by calling the guys that went to Annapolis with us in 13.  Next we called our local FFL.  Then we started calling every gun guy we thought might be interested.

We got some legit excuses, a lot of bs excuses, and some guys were scared it was a trap and/or it would get violent. In the end less than 10% of the people we contacted went.

One interesting thing is how many of the guys who couldn't/didn't go were contacting me during and after the rally.  I hope we planted a seed in many of them that will bear fruit next time.

I also made some new friends.

So get out there and build your network.  Go shooting, hiking, or whatever!  The more gun guys you know means more people that you can call, or who may call you, when help is needed.

One other cool thing that deserves mention.  Someone who couldn't go met us at 4:30am to give us homemade snacks.  That support really meant a lot to me.
