I almost pounced on some AR lowers I saw online. Then it occurred to me that I don't know an FFL to do the transfer. The only guy around here whose prices I can remember wants $40 or $50. He's a nice guy, but that ain't gonna happen.
So... I'm looking for a Vermont FFL who does transfers for a reasonable amount. Southwest Vermont preferred, but I'm willing to travel a bit if needed. Anyone? |

I'm not sure how much less, but off the top of my head I believe he's quite cheaper, try Owen at Catamount Arms in Hinesburg, 482-2809.

Bump...spoke to Owen today, his fee is $20. Great guy, he has gone out of his way to order me some unusual items.

Thanks for the info, D6T. I'll keep it in mind in case I need it later. Hinesburg's about 110 miles from here. I found Black Dog Shooting Supplies in Rutland (about half the distance). He's willing to transfer 3 receivers on the same form for $25.00. Looking forward to giving him some cash soon.

John from Black dog is a nice guy, sometimes his hours are a little here and there. Have you also checked out seiples shoot shop in belmont? A little off the beaten path but he does have a nice selection of stuff to choose from.
Both have pages on facebook also. |

@Sprocket99 Windsor Arms does them for I believe $20. You can also ask them questions and chat with them on their facebook page, I've found them excellent to work with.
