I'm curious if anyone has actually asked this question from authorities. So now full ccw licenses are being issued, which means people are carrying. NY also made nearly everywhere a restricted zone. If you are out and about your day, visiting some non restricted places, and then maybe swinging into a restricted place, what do they expect you to do with your gun?

Not go into it. That's the simple answer. Authorities will tell you not to violate the law. Even parking lots are banned, so placing your gun into a lock box is not allowed. The lock box does not give you a legal out in restricted places.

What do you expect the answer to be? We are just screwed for carry in NYS due to the CCIA counter to Bruen and the courts above the lowest level refusing to give relief, take up an emergency appeal. etc.

Don't expect reflief, if at all for a pretty long time.  Now someone will say, concealed is concealed, etc. Announcing you will violate the law on a recoverable social medium is not the best idea.

Yes, if you wife calls you on the way home from the range and says you need to buy milk, you probably would be a felon. If you want to drive through the pharmacy to pick up your Rx, you are a felon. Unless Cabelas, the local gun range, the local Mom and Pop Mac store, some LGS, sell milk, you have to go home and unload.

However, Scotus found it better not to support the TRO and rather threaten the Alito and Clarence stink eye as we wait for the 2nd Circuit not to support the TRO and of course the lower court decisions when they get to them.

Okay, call me a downer - but the Bruen counter attack ruined carry in NYS for a long time.
