In town for a few days, what should I not miss? I wouldn't mind hitting an indoor range or a good gun store. Already have reservations for St. Elmo and gonna do the zoo with the wife. Suggestions?

On the west side is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, a really nice museum and as an added bonus there is a small gun shop (500 Guns) a few blocks to the east that specializes in blue steel and walnut firearms.

Downtown you will find the Eiteljorg Museum of Native and Western Art and Artifacts is well worth seeing and it is adjacent to the Indiana State Museum.

Indiana Gun Club on the northeast side has a full line gunshop as well as all the fly target games and the guns that go with them.

Day late & a dollar short but for future visitors there's a really cool military museum in downtown Indy.  It's the Indiana War Memorial Museum & it's free.  Most people don't know it there or that there's a complete Cobra helicopter & hummer inside.
