Can anyone identify?  North cave creek area.   Found a couple like this around the house, think my dog (70lbs so not him)  has been chasing something but haven’t seen it.

Half inch wide by about 2 inches long? I'd say fox.
Break one in half when it dries, if there's fur, that will tell you alot.

Looks like a big lizard poop.  Is there a white part on one end we cannot see in the picture?

Like Diggs91 said break it apart to see in there is any fur in it.  If there is no fur it most likely is not a predator.

Did you sniff it?

Alpo or tender vittles?

Looks very similar to what I've seen here in Tucson from a large lizard.  That's my guess.

Looks like rat to me.  Google rat turd and you'll see similar.  I was battling these rodents at my last house.  I see them around my new house from time to time.  Put out some snap traps with peanut butter and a sun flower seed stuck in it.
