10 rounds, as the mag is a pistol mag. For reference, AR mags are technically illegal here as well, as the law prohibits "magazines with a capacity in excess of ten rounds which are designed for or capable of use with a pistol". Thankfully no one appears to be enforcing it as written for now.

AR mags are designed for rifles. Not pistols. Since AR pistols are illegal in HI, this should be a non issue. As for PCCs, I would stick with mag fed versions that are not used in a standard pistol. The colt mag and HK mags are for "rifles" and should be non-challengeable by HPD. If law enforcement you can go with the Glock mag fed carbines.
