Well we still run the assembly and state senate. Who the fuck could not like walker? The only beef i had with him was his hate for jazz cabbage, but things have been going so well since hes been governor that I could not care less.

How many votes will be "found" supporting Skeevers?

As much as it pains me to say it, maybe the useless poll watcher Carter can come with his band of whatever and supervise the election and protect the ballots.

Those absentee ballots were supposed to be counted at a polling place.
Why were they sitting in storage downtown?

Do you think if the Assembly and Senate get their shit together, they can put a choke hold on tony and keep him pretty much ineffective when he comes up with some goofy shit?

And how the hell did Kaul get in as AG?

As I have said in this thread before, an Evers win by itself won't change the status quo. The Dems would have had to take the governor's mansion and either the assembly or Senate to effect any real change.
What I do predict is gridlock on issues that would probably benefit the state, as the governor holds veto power and can also "modify" or change the language of any bill that hits his desk. The Repubs will have to remain united to either block legislation that hurts the state or over ride any veto from the governor if the legislation merits it.

Expect a gas tax increase in the next budget.

The conservative senate R's added to their ranks with Andre and maybe Dale(if he is pissed over the attack ads).

The assembly came back with every seat and we are 64/35.

It really depends how much we stay on our Legis.

The WDVA trust fund has been pretty much non-existant for awhile.  Remember when home loans were 20%+ and you could get a 5% no down loan from the WDVA?  That was a sweet deal, but the WDVA has been so mismanaged for a long time.  Too many CVSO's more interested in politics than helping vets as well.  Just a shame.  That Dept. is just a shell of what it once was.

Why can't the walmart stock department be in charge of the ballots? That way when they are "missing", they are missing forever.

Seriously how can this keep happening AND be allowed? What can be done to prevent future occurrences?

Although when he is up for re-election we can drive to the polls on smooth as glass roads since he will take care of the pothole issue.

Won't any new taxes have to be approved by the Assembly and Senate?  If that happens, it would have to be because there are a bunch of turds in the Republican punch bowl.  Or am I missing something there?

That is correct. Expect the republican assembly to push through a 10 cent per gallon gas tax in the next budget.

Beyond that, we need to be cautious of the state budget because the governor has line item veto power and non fiscal policy can make it in the budget as well.

Leadership elections are today and there is a fantastic chance that a Hard R friendly will make it on the senate org committee which decides what bills go to the floor. If that happens, we will be in a great spot on guns.

Well we can get in line behind GA, FL, and AZ. Seems to be even worse in those areas. Just like the MN debacle with Franken, let's just keep counting until we "find" the votes we need.

These are cro-magnon stupid plots being perpetrated by drooling retards and they're deciding our elections ......... consistently.

Remember when Supreme Solar Allah was caught slashing tires on the vans that were going to transport elderly folks to the polls?
Remember how arrogantly Gwen Moore strolled into the courthouse after it was found that the plot was hatched and deployed from HER HOUSE?
Are we to believe that these people wouldn't dare stoop to voting for all the registrants who didn't turn out to the polls?
Are we to believe that the United States lacks the investigative power to predict, document, and prosecute these people for their crimes?

Just ........ WTF?

Anyone think it is weird that 37,000 ballots turned up after election close, just exceeded the threshold to prevent a recount, and also apparently didn't have a single other state or national race vote in them?

Looks like a great "first assignment" for our "newly elected" AG, Josh Kaul. I wonder how hard he would actually look and what kind of B.S. he would put out at the conclusion of his investigation?
